Since 2017, Richard has worked for Capital West Mortgage Inc. Richard specializes in the financing of seniors housing which includes, but is not limited to seniors oriented apartments, retirement residences, and long term care facilities. He has advised clients on single-property transactions, all the way to complete portfolio refinances spanning dozens of buildings and thousands of suites. Richard has a breadth of experience that encompasses the conventional, insured, secondary, and unsecured financing markets. Over the course of his career, Richard has underwritten and placed over $2 billion in financing.

As for schooling, Richard completed the Professional Real Estate Program at BCIT in the spring of 2017. During his time there, he received various awards including "Best BCP - Real Estate" and the "NAIOP Vancouver Chapter Award". Additionally, Richard was elected President of the BCIT Real Estate Association for one term. Richard continued his studies by completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at BCIT in the spring of 2020 while working full-time.

When not working he can be found at the gym or on the ice playing hockey. If you don't find him there, he is probably enjoying a drink on the closest patio.
