Dixon joined Capital West in the Fall of 2010 as a Director of Capital West's Real Estate Property Group, after spending the prior 8 years with one of Canada's leading Commercial Real Estate brokerage firms. Utilizing his knowledge and expertise of the Greater Vancouver Commercial Real Estate market, Dixon's role with Capital West includes asset management, real estate syndications, real estate acquisitions, and financial modelling. Dixon is a member of the Canadian Real Estate Association, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and the Urban Development Institute.

Dixon graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) with a Diploma in Marketing Management - Commercial Real Estate and Business Management. While at BCIT, Dixon was a founding member of the BCIT chapter of the association ACE, Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurs. Today, Dixon still has an active role with ACE-BCIT as a member of its Board of Directors.
