Shannon has over thirty years of real estate finance experience. She is a founding partner and Director of Capital West Mortgage, President of the Capital West Alternative Lending Division, and the Managing Director for Pacifica Mortgage Investment Corporation.

Capital West Mortgage was formed in 2001 and is an integrated real estate finance company specializing in alternative lending, commercial financing, mortgage syndications, and investor portfolio management. Capital West Mortgage is the manager for Pacifica Mortgage Investment Corporation. Shannon became a director of Pacifica in 2004 and the managing director in 2010.

As the President of Capital West’s Alternative Lending Division, Shannon oversees the daily management, origination, and underwriting of Pacifica Mortgage Investment Corporation’s mortgage portfolio and a non-traditional lending portfolio for a large BC based credit union. The combined assets under management that she oversees currently exceed $500M.

She is a past Vice President and board member (of the British Columbia MIC Managers Association (BCMMA), a member of the Mortgage Investment Association of British Columbia (MIABC), and part of the Canadian Alternative Mortgage Lenders Association (CAMLA).

She has been an integral part of the planning and execution of multiple tradeshows, is active in all aspects of the lending community, and contributes to many charities close to her heart.
