Richard’s work at Capital West Mortgage Inc. primarily involves the underwriting of commercial mortgages. Ranging from seniors’ housing construction loans, to CMHC-insured term financing for multi-family rental projects, Richard has underwritten over $1 billion in projects since joining Capital West Mortgage Inc.

Richard completed the Professional Real Estate Program at BCIT in the spring of 2017. He continued his pursuit of higher education in the form of a Bachelor of Business Administration at BCIT part-time, completing it in 2020. Richard also headed BCIT’s Real Estate Association as President, and continues to be involved with the Association’s vision for the future.

When not working he can be found at the gym or on the ice playing hockey.
